Default Global West Upper Control Arms Finally ON

Installed Global West Upper control arms this weekend. My car was camber challenged and I needed a little more negative camber for auto x.

With lowering springs and the stock setup, settings maxed out, I was only able to get negative 0.9, decent for street but it left wanting a little more on the hair pins. with -0.9 i was still understeering with the toyo r888s.

The install was very straight forward...take out the shock and spring combo and just unbolt and re assemble.

When i took it for a test drive it was awesome! Even on street tires. Thats because i was at negative 2.1 on both sides. The only downside, is you cant go back to stock alignment specs, should you need to......I think the guy told me I could probably get to -1.3 or so.....so oh well. I still have the stockers if anything...just in case.

It felt really good but I didnt want to run that much - camber on the street. I took it to the alignment shop and had them dial it in to negative 1.6. Good compromise and it still feels nice.

I'm sure negative 2 works but not ready for that much just yet. At least I know I have more should I need or want more.

I'll post a quick pic later on....

Cool, so you had the camber dialed in at 1.6, what did you do about castor and toe?

had them leave toe alone 0.0 and caster right in the 5.8 area.
