When I suggest a mod it's either a mod that has worked for me or on a friends SS, at the moment I just have the stock torque arm but my friend has the Edelbrock torque arm. The Edelbrock arm has worked just fine on his 400+ rwhp car, the install is a little easier because there's no pinion angel to adjust for and you can save some money also. If you do go with the BNR make sure you get the the torque arm mounting kit, http://www.bmrfabrication.com/misc.HTM .

The Edelbrock one is non-adjustable but other than that its a very nice piece of equipment. I had it on my old SS and it not only made a big difference but installed very easily and was a great price.
If you dont need adjustability then i highly reccomend the Edelbrock unit.
