Question Is Chrome Moly Really Better?

I am wondering just how much better Chrome Moly LCA's or any other part for that matter, are than regular LCA's made out of steel or aluminum or whatever they make them out of. I'm specifically comparing the regular BMR SFC's to the Chrome Moly ones for $30 or so more. Also, how are the boxed compared to the tubular. Thanks!

Default

It's (usually) stronger and lighter than mild steel.
