double caliper
i was looking through a corvette and chevy trader and saw a C4 and it said double caliper. Is that possible and has anyone done this?

thats exactly what i thought at first was the 2 piston caliper but if it was me i would have said 2 piston caliper and not double caliper. hmm... oh well

Ibelive that was when rotor size was limited . But I think that has changed ,at least last year in the paddies I did'nt see any on the touring cars.
Also of interst did u know camros and stangs rantouring car in the middle 80's, did quite well until Bmw and audi complained andtherestrictions were so tight that it wasn't doable any more.

Its really not worth it, one properly sized caliper could do it in less weight, add more cooling area and be simpler.
Its been done as experiemental in some racing classes, but if you look at brakes in most car racing, none have more than one caliper per rotor.
