Default A Little Different ABS Delete Install....

I didn't like the master cylinder lines running across the top of the strut tower so I routed them behind & underneath. Should make it easier to work on the driver's side of the motor. I didn't use a line loc so that made it a little easier but I don't think it will be a big deal to add one down the road.

I just got done pulling the gage cluster and taping over the idiot lights.

SJM Steve - Thanks for putting the parts together for this project.

Very nice, very clean install.

Steve, we've been e-mailing back and forth. This is pretty much what I'm looking for.

I would like a remote adjustment on the prop valve to be able to adjust while strapped into a race seat.

Thanks mitchntx. I'm sure Steve will be able to get you the fittings you need. I just bought some 3/16" brake line at Advance and bent them as needed.

hiltsy855,

You're welcome. Glad you got everything setup the way you wanted. It turned out real nice. Mitch, if you need more help, please let me know. Since I don't check boards that often, e-mail is probably the best method of contact.

Thanks again Steve.

BTW - Pulling the gage cluster was not that big of a job. I had to drop the steering column a little bit to remove it but it came right out. I thought there would be a bunch of wires connected to the back but there is only a pin-type connector that un-plugs itself when you pull the cluster back. With the cluster removed there is only a rear printed circuit board to remove to access the little pods that the lights sit in. I just cut some electrical tape the size & shape of the pod and dropped it in. I covered the ABSINOP, BRAKE, & SERVICE VEHICLE and I also did the TSC & SKIP SHIFT lights since I disabled those a while back.
