Does anyone have these?? Ok so lastnight I took out my stock springs and cut 1 coil off and did the heater hose mod. It sits 27 1/4" pass side and 27 1/2" driv side.....Do you think these shocks will be good enough for drag racing? Would I get better 60ft times?
I never heard about cutting your springs to get performance, i always though the car would ride worse after.
Were you having problems before? it might be tires that are holding you back.

Cuting springs hurts the rate of the spring..And what shocks do you have? The springs might end up hurting you now, time will tell, Good tires and a good shock/spring set up is everything when your trying to get a car to hook up!
Do you have any pictures of it? How much of a gap is there in the wheel wells from the top of the tire to the fender? I was thinking about cutting some extra springs I have to use on a friends car. I have a couple sets of extra OEM springs just laying around and gathering dust.
New shocks would help. KYB AGX shocks are cheap and would work.
