Death Adder

I just bought a 2001 Z28 A4 and there is a very noticeable knock that sounds like its coming from the passenger side rear. I haven't had it on jackstands yet but everything seems to be where it should be. The knock is even more noticeable when you go over a bump or pothole. Any ideas?

i had this problem on my 93 Z28. it was the trac arm pushing. just a thought. if its not that then im gonna have to agree with creeper
