Default Help with squeak that goes away when ebrake is pulled

My car has a squeak when I go over bumps...sounded like a heat shield but its not. I have been under my car for the last two weekends tightening bolts, checking heat sheilds and lubing joints to no avail. Today I went for a drive and pulled the ebrake just to the first click and the squeaking stopped. As soon as I released the ebrake the squeaking started again.
Can someone tell me what I can do to fix this?

check your emergency brake shoes, they may need a slight adjustment.

Thanks for the reply Jam. Tho I have a lot of experience with disc brakes and calipers I don't really know my stuff when it comes to drum brakes or e-brakes.
so anyhow I cant tell if its my driver side or passenger side that is squeaking but I started by setting the e-brake only on one clicks and tried to rotate the rotor...then I moved up to two, three, etc. I noticed that only after like 4-5 clicks I cannot rotate the passenger side but on the driver side I can still freely move the rotor. So does this mean that the passenger side is to tight or that the driver side is to loose when it comes to what is making the squeak?

adjust them so they have equal pressure on both sides. there should be an adjuster on the bottom of the shoes, it moves in and out depending which way you turn it. you do not want these adjusted tight to the rotor with the lever down. i guess half a pull, in the middle range should be good.

so it turned out to be the bracket where the ebrake single cable transitions into the split cable. That was squeaking up a storm. Thanks again for the help Jam....I also adjusted my ebrake to be even on both sides.
