Question on shocks
Question on shocks Well, i guess its time for me to replace the shocks on my 96 z28. The car "squeaks" when going over speedbumps and just handles horrible. But i cant blame it since it has around 186k miles. The squeaking noise only comes from the rear, so im guessing it could be the rear swaybar, but id still like to replace the shocks and add swaybars later on.
I was considering buying sa konis, but was wondering, are they really worth twice the price from bilstein hds? (since bilstein is around half the price)
Also, if i decide to get konis, would it affect the car somehow to only replace the rear shocks for now, and then buy the front ones later on? Has anyone only replace rear shocks?
Id really appreciate any input from anyone whos experienced any of these brands or preferably both.
BTW this car is my daily driver, so handling is probly my #1 priority. And all suspension is stock so far.
