Default Getting rotors turned

My car has gone 40k and now the rotors are finally warped.

Do you think I can get away with getting them turned and changing the pads or do I need new rotors?

Get new rotors & pads. Turning rotors only thins them out and lowers thermal capacity. Thus, you'll warp 'em again quickly.

Well if I shouldnt turn them I am going Autozone rotors. I dont guess I want to do the job and have my **** warp right away. That would not make me happy. I like the I-rotors and power slots but the pocket book isnt so fat lately. I was hoping that I could turn them cause that is a free mod at Oriellys.

I would try turning them first, afterall it is free. My car had about 58,000 on the clock when i turned my rotors, i got another 5k. miles out of them before they started to slightly warp again. Since your low on cash i would just try turning them about .004"-.006" and see how far that gets you.
