Default Bleeder screw?

Ok I just swapped out my stock calipers for a pair of powdercoated ones from silverghost. I noticed after taking off the stocker that the bleeder screw is on top of the caliper pointing up instead of down. All four calipers had the bleeder screw on top??? Doesn't mae sense to me but is that how its supposed to be??? Also Anyone know were to get drilled and slotted rotors for a decent price both fronts and back. I dont need the best ones just something for the streets but will do justice when at the track???
