Default Polyurethane torque arm bushing ?

Hello guys I'we got '93 Z/28 that has got bad bushing in the torque arm !
I was wondering how to choose a Polyurethane bushing for my torque arm, since i'm only running the stock torque arm. What do you reccomend for my stock arm... This car is A4.
And can i change the bushings alone or do i need to get new brackets also ?
How do i remove them old bushings from their brackets ?

I'we got polyurethane bushings in the LCA's, engine mounts and tranny mount, Would it also be a good idea to put poly... mounts in the side bar on the rear ?

Best regards.

I have an energy suspension poly bushing on my stock torque arm. Like you, the stock rubber one went bad.

It uses the stock brackets, just need to grind the rivets off that hold the old bushing in. The new one will then just clamp in.

^^ exactly, go with the energy suspension piece, it is the cheapest one at around $12 and it is a quality piece. Just installed one yesterday and it definitly firmed things up.

Both Energy Suspension and Prothane make polyurethane replacement bushings for the torque arm. The install is much simpler on the automatic than the manual. You just need some basic hand tools and a grinder as Sparky mentioned above. Just follow our torque arm instructions if you need bolt sizes and pictures of the bushing replacement. You can view them HERE.
