These are the same, overall length as the stocker. Te difference is that these are threaded all the way to the end, unlike the the stock studs.

So the lug covers will still work and you get a stronger, safer wheel stud.

Those are a full 1" longer than the stock studs. I have them on the rear of my WS.6, and they stick out of my 1" spacer, where my stock studs didnt.

Sure you aren't thinking of the 7713s?

The stock studs are 2 1/8". The 7708s are 2 1/2" and the 7713s are 3 1/4".

This is correct. The 7708's are 3/8 longer than stock and the 7713's are 3-1/4 long.
The other thing to remember is the knurl diameter is .509. That's important if you want them to seat into the axle flanges or front hubs correctly. These are the right knurl size.

P.S. I know this from breaking several studs after using poor quality lug nuts. (don't try this at home, BIG mistake)

bump for this.. just to confirm ARP does not make exact stock replacements for wheel studs? I am not wanting to run open ended lug nuts or have them stick out any further than stock.

What is the part number for the original stud? I tried buying one for my 1995 trans am and even the GM one and the aftermarket stud do not have the unthreaded tip on the end.

Great thread with a lot of useful information, but I want to resurrect it.

I have two questions. First, it appears I can run the 7708 with the closed lugs I have for the stock studs and it would still work? Is that correct? I have Billet Specialties lugs and they are enclosed, so I don't know if there is 3/8" of space inside them...

The other question I have is if I'm wanting to run a 1/2" spacer (eventually), can I still run the 7708 since they are 3/8" longer? Or am I playing with fire there and need to move to the 7713 and open-ended lugs. If I have to move to open-ended lugs with the 7708s, I'll just buy the 7713s now and be set for when I decide to run the 1/2" spacer (which might be a smarter move anyway).

So many variables there I doubt anyone can acurately solve this for you. The lugs, and wheels are going to dictate how much room you'll have In the closed lugs. I think your last sentence answered your questions though.

Yeah... I think that's the smarter course. The longer ARP studs with open lugs will work. So that's the route I'll take.
