Default Brake noise ?

Afternoon forums,

My right rear brakes tend to squeak occasionally, the pads and rotors only have 5 thousand miles on them and there is new brake hardware back there. The noise always goes away when I bleed that brake. Would this indicate I have a pinhole leak in the line somewhere? Dunno what else would cause air getting in back there. Open to suggestions.

Thank you and have a wonderful day!

Brake squeak is not caused by air in the lines, so you bleeding them and having the noise subside is completely coincidental.

What kind of pads an rotors did you use?? Cheaper pads tend to squeak all the time, thats just the nature of cheap friction material.

No prob.

You'll just have to live with the squeaking until you upgrade to better pads
