New Struts Question.
Well im lowering my car soon i bought bmr springs and kyb rear shocks. im getting ready to buy the front struts but have a question. i found on summitracing a kyb strut but it doesnt come with a new bottom plate that the spring sits on. am i able to reuse the one off the old strut?

You should be able to use the bottom plate.
However, if you're lowering your car, I would definitely use a higher quality shock. The GR2's, if I'm correct (someone please tell me if I'm not!) are basically a stock replacement. I would look into at least getting KYB AGX's (if not SLP Bilsteins or Koni SA's) for the front. Suspension is one thing that isn't worth cheaping out on to me.
BTW, just so you know, the 4th gen fbody's have front shocks, not struts

BTW, if your car is a 1999, you don't need struts. The link def shows a type of damper that you can not use! You need front shocks specific to 1998-2002 F body. The upper and lower spring perches on your car now should be reused with your new shocks when you do the install. Hope this helps!
