Are you wanting to keep it street friendly? Are you willing to take the chance of something exploding?

Let me just put it this way. If you want to start hooking at the track, your going to be putting a lot of stress on a stock drive train, that's if you have not upgraded your drive train. Hooking can end up emptying your pocket pretty fast if things start failing. Tires make a huge difference at the track, but upgrading tires to a drag radial or slicks can make your rear end cough up some metal or explode. If you want to hook you got to be prepared for the consequences if your on a stock drive train. Anytime your traction is going from spinning out to completely grabbing the pavement, your increasing your chances for things to fail on you.

save yourself some time and get yourself a 12 bolt... rebuilt factory rear ends are a waste of your time and money.

12 bolt's and 9" rear ends break also and since i have an A4 and i'm not planning on puttin a th350 in i think i'll put my trust in the shop, they build rear ends for 4X4's so i hope they know what they're doin when it comes to makin a stock rear strong

Those springs are asking a lot to hook up with.
Location brackets are prolly a good start.
A torque might help some but the cost vs. gain factor is high.
But dont expect a drag suspension set up with eibach's.
Get the brackets & some M/T drag radials
Seen plenty of 10 bolts survive in a auto car, but have a tow companies number @ the track just in case. lol

would you recommend drag springs or stock springs? my springs have over 100K on them so replacing them might not be a bad idea. thankfully the track is 72 miles away and i have 3 free 100 mile tows lol

I used to run stock springs with QA1 shocks. It hooked up pretty well, but i was on a E/T drag. The whole combo would be good springs shocks, but you are going to suffer on the street.
If you mostly drive it make it streetable & run a tire @ the track to compensate for traction.
