brake fitting q's?
I have LT1 C-4 calipers. According to quite a few resources they are supposed to use an M10x1 fitting for the brake hose. I'm trying to run hard line to the caliper's and skip the hoses.(i'm building a conversion vehicle) The problem is that 3/8 NPT seems to fit the calipers and M10 X 1.0 does not seem to fit. The calipers are PBR reman's. Is there a chance the holes were re-tapped, or is there something else I'm missing??? The local hydraulic shop guy says they are NPT fittings also. I dont get it, b/c if someone actually had a C4 and wanted replacement these wouldnt work??? Help please.

I doubt it. A reman should be a direct bolt in.
Not sure what you are designing suspension wise, but at the very least, you'll have to breach the brake system just to change brake pads by running hard line straight to the caliper.
That's why there is flex line on a fixed rear axle.
