Default LT1 to C5 conversion

Does anyone have picks or a thread of a stock lt1 knuckle that's been cut for the conversion brackets? Also will the stock break lines work with the corvette calipers?

Hey:

I used Goodridge C5 stainless front lines when I did it. Look up the C5 brake conversion on here you should fine someone that cut a LT1 for this, I already had LS1 arms when I did this.

See my pics lower down in this thread: thread

Here's a link to UMI's page that has the bracket & info

I had to cut away both factory caliper mounting 'ears' on the spindles for the UMI brackets to fit. Sorry no pics of that. Brake lines will have to be upgraded to longer length for sure.

This is the best picture I have, it is a LS1 spindle but very similar. The LT1 spindle has two "ears" to cut off but this gives you a good idea. Also for brake lines we recommend using 97-04 Corvette front lines, same fittings just longer.

Hope this helps you some,

Those are perfect. What did you use to cut them?

do the brake lines need to be changed out to longer ones or are the stockers long enough?
