Default stainless brake lines

I ordered Techna-Fit stainless brake lines online, not going to name who I bought them from. Well, I was sent the lines for a car w/ traction control, and my car doesn't have it. Are these lines the same with just one extra or are they completely different? P.S. I ordered the right ones, just sent the wrong ones.

They are different for traction control and non-traction control cars.

Having no idea where they came from, I'd call who you bought them from and have them fix it. I sell Techna-fit, if it was me who screwed up, I'll own it... mistakes happen and I'd make it right. If it's someone else, it's up to them to fix it.

No, not from you. It probably should have been though. I'll contact them and hopefully it will be straightened out.

Good to know I didn't screw up.

I now see why they told me they would still work. Their policy states if it is their mistake that they will cover return cost of shipping and shipping of new lines. They were hoping I would keep them to avoid it.

you should be able to keep them.
traction control cars have 2 brake lines going to the rear end as opposed to one, there's 2 flexible lines connecting the brake lines mounted to the chasis to the rear end. On non traction control it's a single line going to the rear end, then the T is on the rear end allowing the hard line to split to each wheel.

you got the kit with 2 lines, should have 6 total, one for each caliper = 4 plus the 2 connecting the rear axle. You'll have an extra one.
When I bought mine years ago, the kits typically came with only 4 or 5 lines, finding the kit that had that extra line for traction control cars was a pain. Many times the kits only came with 4 and you never touched the rubber flexible lines connecting the rear. Unless you paid a lot more for the traction control (extra line) kit I wouldn't worry about it.
