Koni shock leaking :(

Koni shock leaking :( My right rear Koni shock is leaking at the top (the adjuster). So from what I have researched, that is bad and I need to send it back to be replaced under warranty? Just making sure I am correct before I call. I purchased them new 2 years ago and I still have the receipt. I only have about 5k miles on them
