Alignment Specs....
Where should our cars be setup for optimal handling?? I got a stock spec alignment done at a dealership (it took 6.5 hours ) and my car is just downright scary at speeds over 60 mph and on certain roads its scary at 60, 100+ I haven't been comfortable driving at that speed since the alignment was done.
I think I have my alignment specs in my car still and if its there I'll post it up, but where should it be setup??? I think I need to go back and have it redone, I'm just disappointed right now

A good complete align/ checking rear thrust line ( checking all parts for wear , chking air and tires ) should be completed in about 35-45 minutes, if any longer you need a new tech working on your car .
I like to run setting close to OE specs, for normal DD, some ppl like a little - camber
I run equal camber + .25 to +.50
caster about + 4.00 left, +4.50 right
about 1/16 + toe
high air 42-44 psi ( harsh ride, smooth wear) adv 42-44k mileage
just my $ .02'

Thanks man, the worst part is that the tech was kind of a friend of mine so I didn't want to bitch and get him in trouble, but 6.5 hours then they tried to charge me for the extra time the tech put in. The alignment was suppose to be $72.99 and he tried to charge me $365 that wasn't going to happen.
Right after I posted this up I found some alignment specs and in the spring I will have it aligned to those specs at a different shop that I trust.
Thanks for the numbers man

Have you tried using 30psi (give or take) and some negative camber? Most generally run the recommended 30psi (myself included) and I can vouch with a good alignment you can not only get better handling but less tire wear and you don't have to deal with the feel of having bowling ***** for tires.
Try -1 Camber and 30psi tire pressure with the rest of those specs.
