Default Looking to lower

I want to go a bit lower, but will probably go to 18" or 17"s in all around. What would be the safest drop? I was thinking 1.4" all around, but need to make sure I can run decent tires afterwards.

Any ideas?

On a fbody 18's look so sick on a lowered car. I have 18x9.5 C5Z06 rims and run 275/35/18 tires on all fours. Im lowered with BMR 1.25 springs and its a good clean stance. No issues at all.

if you run an adjustable panhard bar and do the BFH mod if needed you can run basically any tire on a lowered car you'd be able to run on a stock height car

Thanks. I will definitely think about doing a 1.2ish drop. I think that sounds like it will work.

just a thought dont forget the adjuatable panhard to center, and any exhaust issues for clearance... i have staggered 17/18's and love the raked stance, +1 for BMR

Strano springs/bars/Koni here on 17's with no issues and love it. For a streetcar I wouldn't really want any lower....
