So for a dd and a drag during the summer, what shocks do you need? Do you need coilover performance ones for the front or is stock fine? And the rear? Thanks for any input. I've got a guy with some edelbrock coil overs for the front for about 300'and performers for the back for 100.

The Edelbrock shocks aren't very popular for the f-body cars for whatever reason, but one thing is for sure you get what you pay for. the best shocks for the money on these cars are the Afco and Strange brands. you will want to do shocks that have adjustable external valving and adjustable spring height as well.

you want to get all shocks with external adjustable valving and the front shocks with spring height adjustment(coil-over style). if you wanna spend a few extra bucks then do coil-over conversion for the rear as well. this will get you the performance and ride quality you need for a street/strip car.
