Pics.. Which is right?
Pics.. Which is right? Im having trouble with these replacement upper ball joints as they are a 3 piece different from the factory one piece... I have attached two pics of the ways I put them together.. One pic is with the rubber boot slid into the metal sleeve first then put on the joint which places the boot higher up on the taper. The second is of the boot slid on the ball joint first then the metal sleeve put over the boot which puts the boot lower on the taper. Which one is right??? I have talked to a local auto shop and they seemed to have no idea(think the tube a-arms confused them) Any help would be great!!!
