Lightbulb Question about shocks....

Hey guys,

I'm basically looking for the best handling / stiff shock (non-adjustable) for the $. I'm not worried about the ride - I just want performance. My car has been lowered approx. 1.5" (not sure if that matters or not).

I'm not that familiar with what's out there, so I thought I'd ask you guys.

Thanks for the help!

Sounds like Sam Strano is the man for you ... without a doubt!

Give him a call and answer all of his questions. He can tell you exactly what you need and he can custom valve Bilstein shocks to work with your entire suspension setup.

Default Bilstein HD

He could probably get away with just plain old Bilstein HD's. Hell MitchnTX has like 50,000 miles on his, and he road races!

Bilstein HD's Thunder Racing 349.00 a set.

www.bimmerparts.com bilstein hd's $307 shipped, or ebay hd's for $329 shipped.

i 2nd the vote for just regular ole hd's unless you want superb performance - then i'd go with the koni DA's.

I think you need to update the price, I just checked this place out. Even before I have to add PA 6% sales tax. (this place is right around the corner from me) the price for all four was 340.76

damn that's crazy. that was about 2 weeks ago when they were $307. that's a damn shame. go to ebay, and get them from that guy. i bought mine from him, and all is well. he handles the warranty stuff too - very trustworthy guy.
