There's no exact number. It's pretty random how the 10 bolt breaks on people. Happens easier when you put more shock on the rear end with like slicks and stronger drivetrain. Wheel hop also can increase your chances of breaking the rear end.
Suspension wise.. not sure if anything breaks really. Except the torque arm mount on the tail shaft on the transmission

I broke the 10 bolt on stock power with a 6 speed. Wheel hop kills rearends. Im not doing any power adders till i have a proper rear end. But IMHO the stock shock need to be changed asap.

I want the car to be fast, but still more of a street car. Im looking at about 500-550 rwhp when im done with it this spring. Just not sure if i should do the suspension first and what suspension to go with for my needs.

I think the day you buy your car you should start upgrading the suspension , stock shocks sucks as we all know .. also even with stock power suspension upgrades will make the car more fun to drive .. in regards to rear ends , they've broke with stock powered cars , if you have an A4 it might last you longer but with any serious power and or sticky tires , your 10 bolt will probably die on you ..
if you have the funds , upgrade everything you can , dont wait ..

Screw all this suspension nonsense. People with bone stock suspension have been in the nines. Hands down, the first thing you should do to your car is subframe connectors. I cannot stress that enough. It won't make any difference if you have stock horsepower or a real monster by the end of spring. you must put in subframe connectors.
Picture this: without subframe connectors, you go to the track, you launch, yell, "YEE HAA!!! WHEELS UP BABY! WOOO!!! SUCK THAT YOU HONDA WUSSIES!!!" and then click off a 10 second 1/4 mile. You go back to the pits and notice a small rumple in the rear quarter, then you notice your gas cover doesn't line up anymore, then you notice your car doesn't drive straight anymore, after a week you notice the tires are worn really bad on only one side! Then you'll realize that you just twisted the frame and the car is now useless junk.
Subframe connectors: shoulda been on the car from day one. thanks alot GM.![MAD](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_mad.gif)

read the part about half way down called, first mods
I suggest UMI. weld in. they're cheaper and definitely hold stronger to the car. trust me, you'll thank me in the end.

if you want to try autocross, or like the pro touring look, go with the top ones, otherwise, go with the ones at the very bottom. ignore the square ones, they're outdated.
