Torque arm on 9" question
When I set everything up I realized that in order for everything to clear the center section the tq arm has to move forward a good deal. Almost a inch and a half.
The problem is that my tq arm is nearly all the way pushed in toward the mount and probably wont go in much further.
My question is will a bmr tq arm with there tubular design leave me more room to to push it in to give me the clearance I need?
I am not sure if you already have the torque arm or not. But with the adjustable torque arms you can shorten them a little by taking them apart and screw in the rod ends, this will give you some clearance. Also adjustable rear control arms may give you the room by moving the rear end back, as long as it doesn't push other items out of alignment. What are you are experiencing is pretty common with the 9" rear ends.
I hope this helps,

Most aftermarket torque arms have more room in the front mounting point as well. At least I know ours does, with this the torque arm can go forward with out maxing it out in the bushing and it still leaves you adjustment in the rear of the arm. The UMI part # I am referring to is #2205.
I hope that helps,
Ryan
