need bolt specs!
need bolt specs! This morning on my way to work I heard a rubbing sound from the rear, turns out the bottom bolt that holds the rear drivers side caliper in place was gone and the caliper was rubbing inside the wheel... can anybody help me out on the specs for the size bolt ill need? Thanks
Is it the bolt that holds the caliper to the bracket or the bolt that holds the bracket to the hub?
If its the bolt that holds the caliper to the bracket, you should be able to get one at any auto parts store.
If its the bolt that holds the bracket to the hub, you will need to go to a dealer. Its a very specialized high strength bolt with a washer head. Given the importance of the bolt, you don't want to skimp with a weaker replacement.

I had this happen while I was out one day (passenger bolt) so i took the drivers bolt off while in Autozones parking lot and got a match while inside...

Did you check the strength stampings on the end of the bolt before you did this? I'm pretty sure AZ doesn't sell high strength bolts.
