Default Rag Joint

I have read where the rag joint may be my loose steering problem on my 2xx,xxx mile 1995 TA. I see where a lot of people put an Unbalanced Engineering Rag Joint Eliminator in to fix the problem. My question is will this not create a noise or vibration doing away with the rubber? Also if I go back with a new stock replacement will I just be wasting my time due to my headers dissipating so much heat into this part? Thanks for your help.

No noticable noise or vibration. Only tighter steering. IMO a stock piece would be a waste of money.

It is a nice piece, I don't notice any more vibration.

Thanks for the input, sounds like eliminating the rubber doesn't cause problems.
