CM is stronger than mild steel. The tubing can have thinner walls, thus lighter, while being as strong or stronger.

Weight savings, and to your second question, it depends. Are you drag racing? Are you running very large drag radials?

Not as of right now, Its just a mid 12 sec car as is but I am planning on putting a cam in it with other suspension mods including a rear end come next summer. So I will be drag racing then, I know adjustable lca's allows you to align your rear end. How necessary is that?? The reason why my Im looking to get lca's right now is there bushings went bad

with lcas, i dont think the cost of chromoly is justified by the minimal weight drop. with a cage or a ta or maybe a panhard bar, yea. but lcas, no. id get mild steel, on car adjustable with a bushing on one end and a rod end on the other.
