need a drop but need advice!!! ok everyone who sees my car is like nice car - you need a drop!
I've been putting it off for 2 reasons - I had Eibach Sportlines put on my old 97 Z28 and was really unhappy because:
1. Even with new shocks, the car rode like a broken down go-kart.
I know it was probably because of the deep drop but it really scared me off. I was like I just spent $800 to do this to my car???
2. The rear was lowered too much - my car went instant-ghetto.
It looked like my next mod was going to be some fake japanese letter-decals, I hated it.
So - are there any recommendations on springs that won't kill the ride and also keep the jacked up (raked) look the car is supposed to have???

Hotchkis is the way to go. Decent ride with stock shocks that I have and give you that slightly raked look you want. If you want your car to sit perfectly even, then remove the boot over the rear springs and cover the top coil with heater hose to prevent any vibration.
dms is the only company that will keep the rake look. i didn't like it enough, so i took out the rear spacers and did the heater hose thing. either way, it's a great drop. one of the best IMO.
