Default What to use to grind calipers.

I just bought a set of draglites and need to grind the calipers. I was wondering what type of disc do I need to buy. Also any tips would be greatly welcomed. Thanks,

Jay

60 grit. You'll be grinding a lot. I kept spraying black paint on mine before I trial fit the wheel- so you can see where you have to grind.

I'm not a big fan of grinding on calipers. If you leave any sharp edges, you run the risk of a stress riser that can cause cracking. I'd vote for wheel spacers (I hate wheel spacers) or getting rims that fit. But that's just my opinion.

My thoughts.

I had spacers on the front (no grinding)- but it looked like crap- wheels poked out from under the fenders, so I ground down the fronts too- You are correct though, ou want to make sure to have a smooth radius on the grind- and not have any sharp edges anywhere.
