Default Stock Torque Arm Install Help

Hey I'm reinstalling my old torque arm back on my car in place of my BMR Track Pack. Are there any pics or writups on how to install this? I didn't do the uninstall/install originally.

If you had our Trak Pack, you probably took off your transmission torque arm mount. You'll need another factory tailshaft mount or a relocation crossmember. Aside from that, the installation is very straightforward. Slide the front of the torque arm into the mount and then bolt the arm onto your rearend. You're done.

Thanks, I'll have to take another look at the parts I have laying around that the mechanic gave back to me after the trak Pack install. I guess there is a chance he left it bolted to the tail shaft?

Okay I found the other half of the torque arm mount and one half was still bolted to the trans. Now what are the two holes in the middle of the torque arm supposed to bolt to? Maybe these parts have something to do with it?

??

It looks like your bushing is all jacked up but I know those two holes aren't bolt holes and aren't used as such. It just slides in the rubber bushing mount and the back is bolted to the pinion mount.

Are the bolt holes in the center of the torque arm just used in the manufacturing process or something?

I can't see any benefit it would add to the manufacturing process, but they serve no purpose with the factory setup. So have no fear, they aren't used.

The bolt holes in in the center of the torque arm are for a two piece driveshaft that most V6's came with. That is were the carrier bearing mounts.

Awesome, thanks for the info guys. Now i just gotta figure out what those two brackets go to. The only parts I have left to install are the stock rear, rear sway bar, and rear brakes.

the 2 small L-shaped stamped brackets look like the sway bar end link brackets that are fastened/bolted to the body.

in the upper left of the pic
