spring and shock questions?

spring and shock questions? My car is mainly a track car that I drive on weekends occasionally. I've been looking at lowering it but I'm afraid it may cause problems at the track. With tire rub or something on the launch. I also run 315s out back for normal driving so I don't want rubbing then. I've all ready beat the fender wells for that little extra insurance and my bumpstops are shaved slightly to fit my wheels on. I've been considering the strano/bilstein set up. I know konis are top notch but i just don't want to throw 1k in shocks for a car I hardly drive. In other words will lowering my car cause problems at the track? And for those running these set up what do you think about it ?
