comfort help....

I prefer bud light compared to a lot of beers during many occasions. Some people might think I have poor taste. It's just personal preference.
It is a fact that the 4th gens use Short-Long-Arm front suspension with coil-over-shocks not struts.
An automotive suspension strut combines the primary function of a shock absorber (as a damper), with the ability to support sideways loads not along its axis of compression, somewhat similar to a sliding pillar suspension, thus eliminating the need for an upper suspension arm . This means that a strut must have a more rugged design, with mounting points near its middle for attachment of such loads.

They have perfect compression dampening for our stock unsprung weight. Then you can adjust the rebound to how you see fit. I put koni's on my car with stock springs at first and then went to stranos. It rides better than a lot of cars I've driven with stock suspension in my opinion.
If you want to save a little money and never plan on going to lowering springs ever.. you want Bilstiens.
