Default Torque arm question

So I made a pull the other night out on the interstate to about one 120ish and I had the driveshaft let go. And when the driveshaft broke it obviously was spinning very fast and violently and beat the **** out of the torque arm and put multiple holes in it. My question is, is can I use a factory 3rd gen torque arm because I have a buddy with one laying in his garage and said I can have it. Ay help or input would be appreciated.

I do believe they are the same part. If he says you can have it, TAKE IT! try it out. I think the front bushing may be different, but they should be the same length and mount to the rear the same way. Let us know how it goes for you.
