Default Ditching the ABS

I'm gathering ideas and help, want to remove the ABS stuff from under the hood and go to a Line Lock.

Been reading through the various threads and am unclear about some stuff.

If you unplug all the electrical connectors from the ABS what happens? My ABS light is always on because the S60 has no sensors. Does anything else happen.

Some threads show a proportioning valve to the rear lines, others do not. Is it absolutely necessary? Do the rear brakes lock up without it?

On my 95, the rear brake line from the master cylinder is smaller than the line to the rear. Is there some way to find an adapter to get them together?

For now that's all I can think of.

Any links to a decent thread on this?

Went to a local parts house, they have nothing in metric fittings. Was looking for a way to marry the line lock solenoid to the front brake lines, like a tee.

look up SJM Manufacturing. they sell a kit with everything you need. I did it myself using parts I found at Oreilly, but it was complicated.

and yes, you need a prop valve
