Default New rotors

Guys,

If I swap out my front rotors on my 99 WS6 do I have to repack wheel bearings and such?? Are they just a slap on rotor like most rears?

Thanks,
Rick

No wheel bearings to worry about. The rotors are separate from the hub, just like the rears.

The pins you removed from the caliper which attaches it to the bracket should be regreased and I would strongly recommend a synthetic.

I didn't remove any pins when I changed my pads. Its sounds like you are referening to the sliding pids that the calipers attach too. Mine slid fine and the boots were fine too. No need digging into them it they work as intended.

To take off the caliper to put the pads on you have two pins/bolts that are lubricated. At least with my 99' Firebird and 01' WS6 it is this way.

You mean the sliding pins, right? With rubber boots?
Mine worked fine, so I left them alone.
