strano/bilstein question
strano/bilstein question Going to install new bilstein/strano combo this week. Curious as to how far you tighten the upper shock bolt on the front . Do you tighten it til it reaches the end of the threads on the shock or a specific torque?
Don't go nuts with an air gun or anything. The nut must get tight, as in no play in the threads. It doesn't have to be super tight to do that, but you can't try and tighten it against spring pressure. 30-35 foot/pounds is all you really need.
