Rotors I am replace my rotors with Irotors. and i heard the zinc plating is a must to get. but my question is this, what does it actually do, and how do i know if they have actually been plated when i receive them? Also what are some good pads to get, cuz i cant really afford the Hawk pads at the moment.

The zinc will make them shiny and keep the edges from rusting. Important, if you care about that sort of thing. Otherwise, it does nothing for performance and will wear off where the pad touches the rotors. I'd save the money on the Irotors and buy the hawks and stock type (brembo oem) rotors. You'll stop better.

Not sure but the Porterfeilds might be less expensive than Hawks.
