Default Lowering spring clunks on the rebound

My left front spring makes a loud clunk on bumps when it rebounds. Someone told me this was normal? I assume it's the spring because I checked for any loose bolts or other parts. Anyone else have this issue?

This guy reported a sismilar issue. He found the problem to be the nut on the shock tower. It's a pain to tighten down because the shaft will just spin. He ended up using an impact to get in all the way down.
