I just pick up a rear end to replace the bent rear end in my 98 bird . the rear axle came with a ta diff cover & control arm relocation brackets can i used them on my stock bird and what is the reason for them? ![The Patriot !!](https://ls1tech.com/forums/images/smilies/LS1Tech/gr_patriot.gif)

Lower control arm relocation brackets are for lowered cars. They correct a change in suspension geometry resulting from the axle sitting higher in the car after lowering.

Oh, and the TA cover is basically just a nicer, aftermarket cover for the rear diff. I believe it has a fill as well as drain plug...not a necessity, but def usable on an otherwise factory car.
