Question Front spring lower insulator

I'm soon installing 1LE springs and Koni SA's up front. Maybe this is a dumb question, but should I assemble the coil-over with or without the stock lower spring insulator? I'm inclined to believe that it should go in. BTW, the perch is on the lower setting and I'm looking for a 3/4" drop or so from stock.

Thanks in advance.

I'd leave it, if you mean the plastic ring with a "step" in it. It should stay.
