Default Qa1 help

I am looking to get qa1s for the front of my firehawk and had a couple questions. The guy I'm buying them from offered me the new 18 was single adjustable models for not much more. Are these worth the slight increase in price?

Also I just put some 10 ways on the rear of my car. I started at 4 and it rode so hard that I could feel the road texture. I've seen multiple people say they run theirs around 6. How can you stand the right at that level?

These are non-gas charged drag shocks, are you sure that is what you are looking for?
As far as ride comfort, again these are drag shocks and will not ride (or handle) very good. The majority of people who own these are likely on slicks/skinnies so the huge soft side wall tires will absorb alot of the impact and make things more comfortable. Either that or they think thats the way the car is "supposed to ride" - which with proper shocks, its not.

Yeah I am aware they aren't going to be a good option for handling. I like back roads but don't push it hard enough to worry about. I also will not be road racing or autocrossing so don't need the Strano/Koni setup that would work well for that. At this point I want the car lowered, and better weight transfer but still drive pretty good. I also do not want to spend a ton of money on a suspension setup I won't be able to use to even half its potential. If we somehow get a good road course built closer to me I will reevaluate my suspension from there but I doubt that ever happens.

I would go with a better handling setup but most of my use will be straight line on the street fun. It might hit some curvy back roads but never anything faster than what the stock suspension could do. I just can't justify that expense now so I am dead set on QA1s, I just need to know how the 18 way adjustables are and if they are the R model or not.

I've got single adjustables on the back, currently set at 6, and double-adjustables on the front, currently set at 7 for both compression and rebound. When I hit the road course, I'll dial them up a notch. Your best bet, call QA1 tech support and tell them about your intended purchase and driving style. They are very good at matching you up with the right part number. Then, give WS6Store a call and buy what you need. Again, great technical support.
