time to lower the SS

I am intrigued to lower my camaro with a Texas Speed slp shock/spring package or BMR lowering spring pack. BMR states the "Panhard Bar" is a MUST when lowering an F-body to align the rear end. Is this true and do I need the bar?

It isnt a must. The only way to find out is lower it and check if the axle is centered. My car was really close,where I really didnt have to have it.

Measure the distance between wheel opening on the body to the tire on both sides.

scottyroc, from outside of wheel well to edge of tire?
and, do this before and after instal?

The panhard is NOT a must but some people need it, some don't. Ours went 1/4" one way and an adjustable panhard bar did the trick. Here are the linkies:
