Default Strut tower brace mounting

So I just put in my founders strut tower brace and I used some washers under the nuts just for more surface area for more clamping force. Has anyone else used washers under the nuts or am I just being too carried away ?

I don't think it will make much difference unless the holes the mount goes through are wollowed out. Won't hurt though.

I guess as long as it doesn't fasten too high on the studs from the upper shock mount... maybe even that might be ok?

I used washers because I usually do on about everything. No issues.
