Depending on the exact braking situation I might agree with you there. However, since some rear end manufacturers can't seem to make housings and axles that retain the function of a 4 channel ABS system and it fails to work, you might as well delete it. Not everyone A. drives their car in inclement weather B. wants to keep their 10 bolt rear end forever C. cares about weight because they've gotten to the point where losing weight is cheaper then gaining HP. So, I can imagine why someone would want to delete ABS

And that is the exact or main reason I deleted mine. Come to find out it is a rather common problem and a sore spot for me because I personally witnessed paying sponsors here that put the blame on the ABS components when they never failed to function for any less then 10+ years until their POS rear end was installed. My 12 bolt is made by Strange, and I've been very happy with it except for the ABS thing. Bitter sweet I guess you could say.

Our ABS sucks no question, lights? pull em out !, they don't indicate anything that would worry us, the only light you need is the SES.
ever since i deleted my ABS, im now more confident to go higher speeds without the fear of having to brake from a mile away.
and i've tried every option to not pull out the lights but there isn't any module or anything.
in some threads some members say that on a 98 you can ground something and the lights will go off, im not sure of my last statement but there is such a thread.
with 99+ you're better off pulling out the abs and lights.
you'd want to have the lines sticking to the body, don't let them be free, i did that and now they are all over the place.

pull out the bulbs? have you taken the dash cluster apart? they're small LEDs on a circuit board.. cant just unplug, and ive tried cutting the back of the board that controls a specific LED and that didnt work cuz having that circuit open causes more lights to come on
