need brake help
i have done everything that i can think of to fix my squeaky brakes but buy a whole new baer kit......new rotors, pads, even the stuff on the backs of the pads
im lookin for any ideas anyone may have on how to fix this problem

Well, it might be the pads you are using. Some high performance pads squeek. I have heard Hawk pads are good. I like my Durastop pads except IMO they leave too much dust.
That backing material is real important though. If you see any metal to metal contact where the brake pistons meet the pads, that can create a squeek.

An anti-squeel shim is usually attached to the back of pads to help with the noise. If its not there, then you can try that. Anti-squeel greese usually comes with pads too (you apply it to the back of the pad). If your pads didnt come with any, or you didnt apply it, then that could contribute to the noise.

My recipe for quiet brakes: LOTS of anti squeal goop on the backs of the pads + Stock GM replacement pads OR Raybestos Quiet Stop pads.
