does anybody make this?
ok, so a buddy of mine purchased a coilover kit for his mazda speed3 and in the kit he got regular coilover shocks for the front and for the rear, the kit came with adjustable lower spring isolators, springs and shocks. you install the spring/isolator assembly (pictured below) in place of the stock springs, just like you were replacing the stock rear springs in an f-body with aftermarket ones, and it allows you to adjust the ride height like a coilover. does anybody know if there is a kit availible for f-body camaros?

Ground Control used to make one, not sure if they still do. But, there are some other alternatives but they are VERY pricey and they can be seen here http://www.ws6project.com/user_stor/...coilover-kits/

i saw the ground control kit, but the kit i saw converts regular shocks (konis, bilstein, etc.) to coilovers, i looked at wolf race craft and they have what i was thinking about (not sure if they are a sponsor here or not to post the link). i just thought that if noone made them, that it could be a product to make for our cars to give the rear suspension some adjustability without having to convert to a coilover setup

The rear conversion from ground control is exactly what you are looking for. It's just a weight jack that sits on the axle underneath the spring. The shock is not modified and mounts in the stock position. The front part of the kit is what converts your shocks into a coilover.

cool thanks for the info guys. i was thinking it would be cool if strano or BMR or companies like that made a kit with the adjustable lower isolator so you have the height adjustability along with the good awesome handling their springs provide. would also help those guys who want a spring upgrade but want to keep their car at stock height

I've seen a coilover conversion sleeve from Bilstein for some of their shocks and it made me curious. Not curious enough to spend money on a bunch of stuff to fiddle with though. I may want my nose dropped another 1/2 inch but not that bad
