No, You can use almost any 2.5" ID 10" or 8" length coil-over springs up front, the front springs look like Eibach ERS springs, which is what GC uses up front. FYI, on the out side of one of the coils it'll have a set of numbers like 1000.250.0550 The first set of numbers is the height, 2nd is inside diameter, 3rd is the spring rate.
As far as the rears springs they're either 10" or 11" tall and normally either have a 175 lb.in. or 150lb.in. spring rates, unless when you order a kit you specify a different spring rate. I'm not sure who makes the rear coil springs for GC, but I do know Hypercoil makes some 5.5" ID pigtail 11" and 12" coil spring that you can use in the rear.
BTW, I use the GC kit in the front of my car, and all is good!
